2x3 ON A WARM WINTER DAY WEAR A PONCHO

I've been waiting for some time to tell you about my woolen poncho. Back when I was planning my winter wardrobe, I spoke to my mum over skype, telling her I wanted to get a blanket wrap, huge scarf, a poncho, whatever people call it. And to my surprise she said she has one she bought in Paris {!!} that she never wears anymore and that I can take it. She described the pattern and I remembered I'd seen it in the summer, downstairs by the shoes, and thought it was a blanket. Oops.

If you remember my post about winter uniforms, this outfit is basically an embodiment of uniform #2. Perfect for a warm day {or a warm winter}. I don't know how I'm going to fit it in my hand luggage when I fly back to England, but I can't wait to wear it with leggings and my troopa boots. Or to just wrap myself up in it when it gets cold inside the house. 

It's kind of like having a skirt on your shoulders, though it might slide off in a moment of some much needed care-freeness. Best lock it in place with a shoulder bag.
