2x2 ALL BLACK OUTFIT? PUT A HAT ON IT

wrap coat ripped knee jeans

Sometimes, the best thing about an outfit is the cheapest thing. My primark kitty hat. I've been waiting two years for primark to make cat face hat; I've had an owl and, I think, a bear hat in the previous winters, but never a kitty hat, not until now. It gets a lot of wear, I tell you.

I got it the week before Christmas, and looking back on that experience, I'd really not recommend anybody visits primark the weekend before Christmas. It was hell. I did get a squirrel onesie out of it {from my boyfriend as a surprise present for the 24th}, but more on that later. Or perhaps not.

And because this is the second outfit of the winter capsule, I feel like I should introduce the pieces so that you know them and hear their stories. Enter black rinse, high-rise, ripped-knee jeans. Following this autumn's realisation, any jeans I bought would have to be high-waisted and I wanted to embrace the ripped-knee trend because, you know, I wanted to be cool.

The sweater is from madewell and I ordered it from the US, because I love the varsity trend and it has alpaca in it. It was, obviously, on sale. After reading the comments and reviews I'd ordered a Large, I like oversize sweaters and didn't want it to be tight on me. But turns out, I shouldn't have payed attention to Mandy from Ohio who, according to her review, shares the same weight and height with me and recommends a Large. I tried it on when it arrived and I could easily fit another half of me there, so I'm hoping to get my mum to help me take it in on the sides. It's still a favourite though.

What about you? Any cool or uncool favourites for this cold season? Any good hats?
