Outdoors outfit pictures! I've missed them. Fall can be pretty even in Manchester {though only on a good day}.
Today, I want to talk about my favourite pieces. I have a favourite piece in every category - and this outfit contains two of them. A fave from the bottoms and a fave from sweaters. I got these gap jeans to replace my low-rise h&m jeans. I spoke about them a few posts ago so I won't bore you too much, but I just can't get over how amazing gap high-rise jeans are. Honestly. If you don't like exposing your kidney area - this is it. I did have to size up though, my normal size was just too tight around the hips. Anyway, I can tell these will be my most worn bottoms this season. I just wish gap had them in more colours! {If you live in the US, you're a lucky girl, so many more wash options!}
The second fave is this long open-front cardigan. It is super cosy. The colour goes practically with everything too. I only have 2 big cosy sweaters in my autumn capsule and I'm on the lookout for more for my winter one. Why oh why didn't I include more in this one? Well, I'm going to learn from my mistakes.
These two items will definitely be moved over to the winter capsule wardrobe when the time comes.
OH! I just had a thought: perhaps I should put together an outfit that's made out entirely of my fave pieces - but I'm worried I wouldn't want to wear anything else afterwards! Imagine that.

I have a pair of Gap high-rise jeans that I love too! The best part was that I got them on super sale- I think they were under $20. I love your cozy scarf too :)
