2x10 SPRING OUTFIT OUT OF A WINTER CAPSULE

It's just my luck that I fell ill two days before Valentine's day. We had plans to go to the zoo but I could barely breathe so we had to postpone. I also had a little Valentine's post planned but unfortunately anything emitting light like a laptop or a tv was making me dizzy, so there went that. We spent the day on the sofa, I was reading a book and the only out of the ordinary thing we did was we made Valentine's cookies. I mean, they were just normal cookies but we made them on the day so I'm allowing them to call themselves that ;-)

The sun's been shining a little lately and I feel like it's gotten a little bit warmer, finger crossed, so I'm going to be starting to do a little planning for my spring wardrobe. Yay! 

I pulled out the two pastel things I have in the winter capsule and put them together, to at least feel a bit closer to spring. {Which, realistically won't really arrive before the end of March, temperature-wise.} I rather like the look. I also got bored with my hair and tried something new. It took me about half an hour to come up with this weird hairstyle but I think it was worth it. I braided a few strands at the front of my head, arranged the braid in a spiral and secured it with a couple bobby pins. Easy, right? Might even do a tutorial one day.

Oh and I've almost forgotten! Happy pancake Tuesday! I have a super easy trusted recipe, but something tells me I might mix things up a little and try something new today. This, in particular, has caught my eye. Looks amazing, right?
