2x11 COOL GIRL OUTFIT

On Saturday, Giorgio and I finally went to the newly opened Whitworth art gallery. We initially planned to go last weekend when they had tens of reopening events but I was ill so we had to put it off. It was still very full and I think we'll have to go back in a few months time to fully enjoy the exhibits without the crowds of people. Still, it was very impressive and I think we ended up spending a couple hours in there, just walking around and reading about the pieces we liked.

I mentioned before that I'm becoming bored of the same coats and the same cold weather, so it takes a little extra effort to come up with something interesting to wear these days. I was going for a bit of a cool girl vibe with the sneakers and the checked shirt. I really didn't think I'd be able to pull it off, but it seems to have worked for me! I had a very limited shoe choice - I'd been wearing my running sneakers for a week or so because I had a bruised toe and all my shoes were painful. Great story, right. I was convinced it was a frostbite, too :-)!

I'm carrying a paper bag because the gallery shop had some awesome things - as gallery shops usually do - and I found this thick paper notebook that I want to use as an art journal when I fill up my current one. The paper is just perfect.

Afterward we had sushi at Wasabi - our favourite sushi restaurant in town and ordered our "usual." I seem to always pick a chicken katsu curry and then three of my most loved sashimi off the conveyor belt.
