3x16 DOUBLE DENIM AND A MONOCHROME OUTFIT

Double denim action is back! Along with two other big favourites: the NB trainers and a turquoise purse. I'm so predictable ;)
This is the third and final look made from my mini weekend wardrobe I talked about last week. (Here's look 1 & look 2)

I was excited to wear this outfit - I love the crispness of the white blouse and how it shines in this outfit. It embodies what I want my style to be this spring: clean, feminine and happy.
This blouse is a piece of clothing that will do really well in day-to-night transitions. Something that can be worn with a pencil skirt for a smart look or with jeans for a more casual date night. I'd swap the shoes, bag (for something more neutral) and replace the denim jacket with something fancier. An unstructured blazer or a cardigan with some lovely detail. Add a bracelet or a necklace and voila! All ready for the evening. Do you have anything that's so easy to style for day and night looks?

I, of course, paired it with trainers for a day out exploring in St Albans. A nice town with a beautiful cathedral. Down in the park we even witnessed moorhen feeding. They build their nests right in the middle of the water and this one was just a couple metres away from the public path.

I'm becoming a big fan of monochrome outfits and this one is a pretty great representative of what those might look like in real life. I'd love to wear one with beige and blush tones. So pretty!
