3x11 WEEKEND AWAY: LAYERED UP

Today, another look from my weekend away a few weeks back. This time a casual one. (See also: my fool-proof packing method and the Saturday look). The Sunday when I wore this was still very chilly and so I was forced to pair my two warm layers together - a long cardigan and a leather jacket.

I'm not usually a fan of a long layer covered by a short one, but I think that it works here. Still, I have to admit that this look doesn't feel 100% "me" and I don't think I'll wear it again. I'm not convinced about that hair style either.

I do love those jeggings, I think this is the first time I'm wearing them here and they've become a quick favourite. Stretchy, movable, fun pattern. I actually think they'd have been great in my winter wardrobe. They bring an understated interest into my bottoms choices. I wish I had them in some spring colours, too :)

I'll be packing my bags again this bank holiday weekend, so I hope you like mini travel wardrobe posts because there's more to come soon. I'd love to know what you like to take with you in your carry-on when you travel. And also what you think about short over long layers. I'm sure there's a way to rock them!
