THE RBD - RED BEACH DRESS

As it gets warmer and warmer I keep looking at my summer dresses - I mean the ones that can't get any shorter or lighter - and asking myself whether it's still too soon to wear them. This red one comes from last years holiday with my parents in Croatia. We were on a small island with one grocery store, a post office, a couple restaurants and a cafe bar. Driving back, we stopped at the town where we disembarked the ferry. I spotted Mana and convinced my parents {mum didn't need too much convincing} to go have a look. We left with two bags of clothes and I got two dresses and some underwear.

I normally shy from blocks of vibrant colours, but I thought, every woman needs a red dress. Plus this one comes with polka dots! It's great for a casual evening holiday stroll to a restaurant, or as a pretty cover up at the beach. I can easily imagine it paired with a straw bag, flip flops and a bikini underneath.

My grey straw hat is new and it's coming on holiday with me this year. Better than a cap, huh? I've got a pretty maxi dress that I'm planning to wear with it. I'm craving the sea! Are you going anywhere lovely this summer?
