DAISY WALK
WELCOME TO KATBERRIES!
Hello, dear readers! It was almost three weeks ago when I last posted and lots of exciting things have happened since. For starters, I've changed the blog's name from Sunday Carvery to Katberries and moved to a .com domain! I feel real cool having a .com website.
I've spent a good part of the past seven days deciding, designing, testing and coding. And voila! Here's the result. I hope you like it. If not, then that's too bad, 'cause I don't think I've got it in me to change it. I'm still working on a few things, but I couldn't wait any longer to go public. Let me know if something isn't working the way it's supposed to.

COME WALK ON DAISIES WITH ME
A couple weeks ago, while running, I found this pretty trail strewn with daisies and circled off birch trees (why is that?!). Well, I'd seen it a few months ago for the first time, but it didn't look nearly as beautiful - there were no flowers and the trees hadn't even started to wake up from their winter slumber. This little place is in Ancoats, a short stroll away from the horrible retail park. I'm wearing a skirt from a River Island winter sale where I fell in love with it, and never wore it till now. It doesn't seem to go with anything I own, (story of my life), so I decided to go for a bold pattern clash. Looks kinda alright! I'd rediscovered the h&m top on my visit home in April and packed it to come back to England with me. I think they have a dress with this pattern now, in their conscious collection, nevertheless, I got this one in a sale about a year ago. £3 everyone!
Only when I got dressed and sprayed perfume on my neck, I realised I look exactly like Marc Jacobs' Daisy. The sunshine edition. So, I took it along to be my prop. Even the sandals match the lid!
I got the perfume as a birthday gift from my grandma over a year ago, and I'm only half way through it. It smells fruity, like raspberries. Sweet, but fresh. It took about an hour to choose - in every perfume I tried, I could smell a hint of citrus, even if there wasn't any. I don't know why most perfumes smell like lemon to me, but I sure don't like it.
I collected the fluffy dandelions and attempted to take a picture of me looking pretty while blowing them away. Well, let me tell you, it did NOT work. I don't see how anybody can look attractive doing that! I just looked weird. So I'll spare you.
Instead, I threw some daisies up in the air. For your pleasure.
Have a lovely Thursday!
