PICCADILLY VILLAGE

Top, Asos, £6 // Old Levi's cut-offs // Shoes, Converse // Necklace, h&m, £1.50

I've been wondering how people were adding handwriting to their pictures for a while. I thought maybe it was a font or that they had a device that let them write on their photos. I thought it was a hard and lengthy process. Then I stumbled upon this post on A Beautiful Mess' and discovered they indeed had a tablet and that it wasn't actually as expensive as I had thought. {plus I found a great deal on amazon for wacom intuos - if anyone wants to know. It's part of their weekly deals and expires today!} Turns out, it's actually pretty easy. All you need is a software with brushes. A lot of people say it took them a couple days to get used to the tablet but I didn't really have to. I found it very easy and almost natural. I'm actually very proud of this last picture, but it took me about an hour! Good practice, though. Nevertheless, expect to see a lot more writing on here :-)

I wore this outfit last weekend, when the weather wasn't so miserable, for a Sunday stroll around M4. M4 the postcode, not M4 the motorway, that is. I had found a charming little place called Piccadilly Village on one of my runs earlier in the week and thought it was perfect for pictures. There were ducks with their ducklings and easily irritable geese with goslings. Also, we had to walk there twice because the first time around I forgot to put an SD card in my camera. Yes, I know.

I felt like shorts but had to line them with tights still, plus I kind of like it like that. Those levi's are very comfortable, I must admit. It felt good to dress in a simple greyish outfit for a change. I've got another grey one prepared, I'm just waiting for the rain to stop so I can document it for you all.

Hope you've had a good, relaxing weekend.
